Download Tapes

Bookmark and Share

This is the download page for Dolano mp3s. The mp3s are from three sources: Open Satsang tapes; Salina's Dolano YouTube channel; and the streaming audio tracks on MySpace. The tapes are available here with Dolano's permission.

How can I know when new tapes come out?

If you join the mailing list, you'll receive emails when new tapes come out.

Where to Start?

If you've never listened to Dolano, we suggest you download the album Satsang Bites. It contains all the audio from Salina's wonderful Dolano YouTube channel (thank you Salina!) It's a wonderful introduction to Dolano. In fact, that's all Andy had heard when he applied to intensive satsang. "Everything just clicked so perfectly when I heard these tracks that I immediately knew I had to go. It was a burning need."

Beyond that, we wouldn't know what to recommend. Everything is equally important. If it clicks with you, you'll be coming back for more. Take your time, this page is not going away. It's a living project and there'll be more coming.

In case you're just looking for a few quick picks, we've put a star next to a few tracks we happen to love even more than others. But other tracks may better suit your circumstances.

That being said, Dolano very much recommends that when you listen to a satsang, you listen to the whole tape. That's because for the most part Dolano’s responses to the various questions form an inter-related continuous flow; therefore, she says, if you only pick the questions you listen to, you won't really hear her message.

Listening to Dolano

If this is your first time listening to Dolano, you'll notice that she speaks with an accent and a colorful vocabulary of her own. Don't let that turn you off! You'll get used to it in ten minutes. Chances are you'll come to love Dolano English. It is the perfect language for Satsang. It does away with a lot of complications that have no place here because satsang is not philosophy.

We won't try to explain the roar, the ringing bells, samsara, the wrong vision, the play of leela, the body lifestream, the bodymind, the beloved servant's mind, the laptop, the bookstore, make-surity, vocabulity, actom nice, sababa, graveyard, emotion-thoughts, "you have written many books"... Dolano speaks for herself.

Note that the questions transcribed below only give a clue about the tracks, because Dolano often answers the assumptions behind a question rather than the question itself.

How to download the tracks

The Open Satsang Tapes are ready for your digital music player as they are perfectly named and tagged and even have their own album cover. They are simply gorgeous! You can download the tracks that interest you one by one, or you can download each satsang tape in one zip file. To download, right-click the links and save the files. Mac users, if your mouse only has one button, press the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard while you click, then choose "Save link" from the pop-up menu.

Most likely, your computer already has a media player installed and will be able to play the files straight away. If not, you will need to download one among the many available. For Windows, we recommend a light media player called The KMedia Player. For Macintosh we recommend VLC because it is lighter than ITunes and it can handle WMA files.

We broke each satsang tape into tracks to make it easy for a curious bypasser to listen to a bite of Dolano. We also wanted to be able to share a single track with someone who might not want to listen to a whole tape.

Watch out, you might get addicted! Andy says: "I started to listen to Dolano at a time when my quest was so intense, so pressing, so vital that I would have done anything to hear more. I downloaded everything I could get my hands on!"

Besides the open satsang tapes, there are a number of Dolano videos on YouTube and MySpace. We love them, but we don't have a computer when we travel, and we want to be able to listen to Dolano anywhere. So we ripped the audio from YouTube and MySpace, and we share the tracks with you at the bottom of this page.

A note for Mac users

If your mouse only has one button, where it says to "right-click", press "Ctrl" on your keyboard, then, keeping it pressed, click on the link. A pop-up menu will appear. choose "Save link".

01 Introduction

02 Questions. "Why don't I have any question? Why don't they come?"

03 Enlightenment. "Could you talk about how you got enlightened?"

star 04 The disciple on the path. "I read that in old times masters chose disciples carefully, and that the aura of the master supported the disciple's growth. I would like to know how it is with you".

05 The ringing bells. "When I hear Osho speak of eternal life and all these things, I have a feeling 'My god, there's a promise!'"

01 Introduction.

02 Go for liberation. "I don't know to make a decision in my life. I want to know what is true. But now I will go back to my country. I'm very confused."

03 The disciple who could have met god. "Three years ago at your satsang you said that to come to you was the last step, and that gave me the kick to go away from you".

04 You will have to know. "It's a matter of honesty with myself... I mean, am I ready for the last step?"

05 Get out of the way. "You say 'Are you ready to die?', how can I say that, it's like suicide?..."

06 The true suicide. "It's a matter of desperation, of getting tired of being this or being that?"

07 Your mind is not the enemy. "I go through periods when I'm connected to my nature, and then my ego comes back. This frustration that you talk about, I feel... It's intense..."

08 More extreme. "I feel more free than I've ever felt, and then at times it's the opposite..."

09 Your beloved servant. "What is the true nature of the mind?"

10 A functioning. "In my journey on the path, is my endeavour to investigate my mind, or is my endeavour to just drop it?"

11 Who am I. "Does the 'Who Am I?' come from investigating the mind?"

12 Busy with what I should do. "Something is vibrating in me. Who decides about intensive satsang?"

13 It is not about feeling. "I'm obsessed with feeling..."

14 What is it for you now. "I want to report on an experience".

15 Are emotions real. "In life itself, does all emotion exist, are sadness and anger a reality?"

16 Osho got angry. "I've been told of an experience when Osho got angry".

17 Enlightenment is scientific. "How did enlightenment happen to you, was it a process or did you wake up one day?"

18 Get the message of meditation. "When you say meditate, meditate, meditate... My path enjoys tennis, my children, flowers, my partner. Are you saying I should give that up?"

19 Open up let me in. "It seems like a cosmic joke that everyone on this planet came together for the joining of male and female but that to realize our true nature we have to deny that."

20 If you are on the path you are a lion. "It seems there should be a warning at the door: 'anyone who wants to be in a relationship, don't enter'".

Tape 3: April 30 2006

01 Introduction

02 Spiritual Progress. "I have been for many years on the path, doing spiritual practices. There has not been much progress if any. My approach is lukewarm. I desire freedom but not very intensely. What can I do to increase this intensity?"

03 Meditation. "My question is about meditation. Is there a need for techniques?"

04 Enlightenment. "What is enlightenment according to you?"

05 Enlightenment 2. "Do you think every human being is born enlightened but we are not aware of it?"

06 In the Present. "Somewhere this mind was saying 'Stay in the present, stay in the present'. When you answered my question last time that it's already the present, something clicked and that was dropped".

07 Lingering Thought. "When a thought comes, a small thought comes that 'A thought is coming: Ignore it'. What to do about this lingering thought?"

08 Intensive Satsang. "Can you tell me a bit about your intensive satsang? What do you do in a month-long satsang? In a way I feel all I need to do is sit down and just be with myself."

09 Emotions. "How to deal with emotions?"

Tape 4: February 8 2008

You can download the whole tape in one zip file (right-click and save). 01 Introduction

02 This mind needs liberation. "In a way I want to get out of the mind but in another way I enjoy being with these thoughts. Why is it like this?"

03 Falling asleep again. "If one wakes up is it possible to fall asleep again?"

04 Nothing wrong with fear. "How can we release our fears and not let them control us?"

star 05 Satori. "I had an experience when I felt like I disappeared. There was no 'me', no outside. In this moments I was feeling so light, so in tune with everything. There was no more time, no more future, no more past. Usually I'm not aware of this. What is this experience?"

06 Another 25 years. "I've been practicing Osho meditations for many years. I too have these spaces where I disappear, where everything is perfect, no problems, peace. I have the idea that by repeating these meditations techniques again and again, it will go deeper and deeper, and then one day, POOF..."

07 The final thought. "What is the truth that liberated you?"

08 Duality love. "You said that when your mind gets liberated, you couldn't feel love, so what is love, is it a thing of the mind?"

star 09 Your nature is alone. "Is is possible to be so tired about relationships?"

10 Need or no need. "To be alone means we don't need society?"

11 Imagination. "Are the moments when the 'I' disappears also imagination?"

Tape 5: November 10 2006

"If I had to pick a least favorite tape, this would be it", says Andy. Nevertheless, it will be someone else's favorite tape. You can download the whole tape in one zip file (right-click and save). If you're not sure what to do with a zip file, you can also right-click here and choose "Save link" to download a single mp3 file. You can also use the links below to download individual tracks, or listen directly on the streaming page.

01 Introduction.

02 Meditation. "Can you talk about meditation?"

03 What does not come and go. "When you meditate, do you focus on the breath, or on the third eye?"

04 When to meditate. "Is there a particular time everyday when it's beneficial to meditate, and how long?"

05 Departure. "It's about going into the deep meditation and coming to the 'nothing means anything'. It happened to me and it was really painful. I love you, I hate you, nothing means anything. The pain, is it because I'm still holding on to the cootch cootch, the identification?"

06 Analyzing. "I've been watching how much my mind wants to analyze. Is there any place for this? Is it part of the process?"

07 Emotionthoughts. "I see it with my mind but also with my body, with my emotions or my feelings..."

08 Trying. "You said something about accepting everything. This is something that I feel like I try to do."

09 Free with the body. "I feel like the work of my body is over and I need to get connected to the ultimate being. In your process, is to be free also to be free of the body?"

10 Give me give me. "When I feel love with a man, I go totally, and the people have fear, and my friend says it's too much, it's necessary you go as lonely as lonely..."

11 Pain. "I heard that when people get more and more enlightened, they know that they are not the thought and they know that they are not the pain and somehow they are released from many physical pains..."

12 Confusion. "I want to know what you think about confusion."

13 The right time for intensive. "When is the right time to do the intensive?"

14 What is intensive satsang? "In intensive satsang do you just have question-answer time? What is intensive? Is it just you sharing?"

15 Where and when? "How does it happen, how often, when, where?"

16 Do you feel blissful? "Do you feel bliss all the time, do you feel sadness ever?"

17 Do you feel our pain? "Do you feel our pain in our questions?"

18 Groups. "I want to ask something but I don't quite grasp what it is."

19 Only source is. "What is the possibility of relationship if there is no one else?"

Tape 6: March 26 2007

You can download the whole tape in one zip file (right-click and save). If you're not sure what to do with a zip file, you can also right-click here and choose "Save link" to download a single mp3 file. You can also use the links below to download individual tracks, or listen directly on the streaming page.

01 Introduction.

02 Compromising. "Would you please say something about compromising when you're together with someone?"

03 A process. "I don't know how to continue being true in my life. I'm afraid I will fall in the same patterns."

04 Trust the roar. "My mind is playing while you are talking and it's saying 'what do I do with money?' and it's a question from all my life since I was little, 'what am I going to be when I grow up?', and I'm sick of this question but I really don't know..."

05 Back in the West. "When I'm here in India I really like the meditation, then I go back to the West, I feel that slowly slowly I fall asleep again, and after since months, I hardly meditate. Would it be good to go through the resistance of the mind and the games like 'I have no time, I'm tired' and stuff like that?"

06 Real life. "I had a lot of groups and had a glimpe of something, but when my boyfriend came I immediately came back to this old pattern... What is the point to realize something while in real life you cannot be that way?"

07 The play of leela. "Recently I developed this acceptance for myself. And then I feel my mind is not as sharp as before, I don't analyze that much anymore. How can I face real life when I accept everything?"

08 What now? "I'm fed up with all the suffering. It's becoming an obsession, for the search to end. I don't know what to do anymore."

09 Rid of the obsession. "I really want to get rid of the obsession for the search."

10 Intensive satsang. "Can you talk about the intensive satsang?"

11 Liberation is number one. "Most of the time it's really hard for me to distinguish what I really want."

12 When doubt comes. "When I need to decide, there's a moment when doubt comes ..."

13 Do you suffer? "As an enlightened being having realized enlightenment, is your life without suffering?"

14 Energy darshan. "The idea of diksha or darshan... There is a tradition of an enlightened being being able to give energy, is this something you also believe in?"

15 Intensive Q and A. "When is the next intensive satsang question and answer?"

16 Outside the tunnel. "A friend of yours told me that many years ago Osho had said that one day you'd be there waiting for his people when they come out of the tunnel."

17 To know who am I. "You said that to know oneself and enlightenment is not the same thing."

18 Happy not to be happy. "Last year I was more blind but I was more happy. Now I feel I am less immature but my happiness is so related to others. I don't know why it happened".

19 Out of mess. "Is suffering the last stop before awakening?"

Tape 7: April 11 2006

This is one of our favorite tapes: it's hard to decide which tracks to grace with a star. You can download the whole tape in one zip file (right-click and save). If you're not sure what to do with a zip file, you can also right-click here and choose "Save link" to download a single mp3 file. You can also use the links below to download individual tracks, or listen directly on the streaming page.

01 Introduction.

02 Just now. "How do I know that I am just now, and still thoughts come and tell me don't worry, that there is just now?"

03 Mind needs liberation. "You say it's not enough to be aware about it, the mind must be liberated...?"

04 Baby born mind empty. "How did we become confused, or how did God fall asleep?"

05 No mind. "When you say 'to have no mind', can you achieve this not just through meditation but in dance, in making love, in singing, is it all no mind?"

06 Busy not doing. "Do we have choice as individuals or is it just a movie playing out?"

07 Decisions. "How do you make choices? Is there right and wrong?"

08 Natural. "People ask me to decide, and I feel there must be a balance between me and the others, so I get confused when people are demanding decisions from me."

star 09 Esoteric. "Would you have practical advice to get to this clarity?"

10 The highway. "You keep saying that meditation points to the truth, does it imply that you think meditatin cannot take you to the truth?"

11 Illegal free. "I see you say that must of the way is to see what is not and to let that go..."

12 A device. "If I'm learning more yoga techniques and I'm trying to raise my energy and raise my kundalini and to purify, in my mind and in my experience I feel this is taking me closer to my true nature because I'm feeling a lot more peaceful than I did a few years ago before I started doing this. So my question is, 'Is it just a mind trip?'"

13 You will not figure it out. "Just to know that I am not the thinker, that I am not the feelings, just to know it, it's not complete..."

14 Get the joke. "I don't think about it, just the thoughts come and go."

star 15 Spiritual best. "Where is love in all of this? The concept and the feeling. 'God is love', you know, we hear this message a lot."

01 Introduction.

02 Suffering. "Sometimes I feel that to go deeper I have to suffer. What is suffering?"

03 Enlightenment. "Can you talk about enlightenment?"

04 How. "How to liberate the mind?"

05 Enlightened relationship. "Is it possible to live an enlightened relationship?"

star 06 Fear. "When I feel that meditation is deepening, I feel sometimes as if I'm coming close to death, and I encounter fear. Then the fear stops the meditation."

Tape 9: January 9 2006

You can download the whole tape in one zip file (right-click and save). 01 Introduction.

02 No time for intensive. "I will not have time to do the intensive. Since I cannot do the intensive, what can I do, because I am still interested to be at the end of the path."

03 Fear. "My question is about fear, fear of being on this real holiday that you speak of. For me, to jump there is okay, but to be there is very scary.

star 04 Feeling good or bad. "I'm doing Vipassana meditation daily in the morning for 25 to thirty minutes. One day we feel very nice, the next day somebody says something to us, we're disturbed. After one or two days, again we feel very nice. Why is this going on?"

05 A good addiction. "Is it possible to meditate too much?"

06 Experience. "Is there such a thing as going in the space and going out of the space?"

07 The experience and you. "I felt awful so I had to take a lot of drugs and went into these spaces where these feelings didn't matter."

08 No reason for anything. "So why should I do things, wake up in the morning, go to university?"

09 The path? "Where is the path? I've never seen anything like a path."

10 The highway. "Your indications are that the path is meditation. Is that correct?"

11 You should know. "How do you know when someone is ready for the last satsang?"

12 The true love. "Are love and meditation in some way related to each other, or is love another experience?"

13 An excuse. "I started meditation with Vipassana, the technique that Goenka teaches. You concentrate on the sensations that you feel in the body. Do you think this is a good technique?"

14 Feeling alive. "Recently if I have extreme emotions, it just goes, I feel I'm neutralizing... But I want to feel jealous, I want to feel angry. What am I if I'm not all these things?"

15 What does not come and go. "What about being at war, being jealous, hating, loving, and yet also knowing that you can think beyond that: does there need to be separation?"

Tape 10: July 8 2008

You can download the whole tape in one zip file (right-click and save). If you're not sure what to do with a zip file, you can also right-click here and choose "Save link" to download a single mp3 file. You can also use the links below to download individual tracks, or listen directly on the streaming page.

01 Introduction.

02 Being humble. What is the meaning of being humbled?

03 Third eye. "Is it necessary to open the third eye to become enlightened?"

04 Chaos. "In the silence and in the stillness, I recognize who I am and it's a beautiful place for me to be. Then in my day it's so easy to forget about the peace and the beauty and the natural place that feels good... Sometimes it feels more natural to be in the chaos, but then I get so uncomfortable, and I remember to sit and I remember to be still. What is it with the mind that needs to go into this spin or the chaos?"

05 No separation. "When we ask "Who am I" to existence or ourselves, and when different answers come, how to balance that with normal life?"

06 Enlightenment without trying. "I'd like to know if enlightenment can happen without trying—without effort, without intention?"

07 Germany or Nepal. "Imagine you have to leave India next week and you are deep in love with meditation, would you go home to Germany or would you go to Nepal in the Himalayas?"

08 To confront. "It's easier to go to Nepal and not confront home."

09 A natural outcome. "On the topic of liberation, awakening, enlightenment, all these things, is that always an absolute permanent condition once attained, or is there ever such a thing asa sense of 'temporary enlightenment'?"

10 Instant intimacy. "I'm wondering how the state of enlightenment affects relationships with other people".

11 Never separate. "I think I had the wrong perception of an enlightened state of being being separate from everyone, but it sounds like you actually feel more connected..."

12 Use the opportunity. "We cannot just sit in silence?"

13 Listen silently. "Sometimes I have the impression that being here is some kind of meditation. I had this feeling the first time I came to the open satsang. I was just starting to hear about enlightenment and meditation, and I was very curious because I heard there is an enlightened woman, and I was curious about being in the presence of a person like that. I was analyzing what you were saying and it was making me very tired. I didn't like anything I heard but I felt something special..."

14 Nothing ever happened. "Do you think that the things that go on on this planet are accidental or that there is a certain plan? Osho calls it existence, some people say God..."

15 The last silly question. "What was your last silly question?"

star Satsang Bites: MP3s from Salina's Dolano YouTube Channel

There are fifteen Dolano videos on Salina's wonderful YouTube channel. We converted all the videos to MP3 and put them together in an audio album called Satsang bites. We added a 16th track at the beginning of the album: It is "A Moment of Silence", the only MySpace track that was not duplicated elsewhere. You can download the whole album in one go, use the links below to download individual tracks, or listen directly on the streaming page.

01 A moment of silence.

02 Beyond feeling good or bad. "I'm doing Vipassana meditation. One day we feel very nice, all the things are going as we wish. The next day somebody says something to us, we're disturbed. After one or two days, again we feel very nice. Why is this going on?" Extracted from question 4 on tape 9.

03 True meditation.

04 What is the path? "What is the path? Where is this path? I've never seen anything like a path." Extracted from tracks 9 and 10 on tape 9.

05 What is intensive satsang? This is extracted from track 10 on tape 6.

06 Enlightenment is scientific "I'm a little bit confused because for the last few years my whole focus was enlightenment, and right now I only feel like doing daily things like eating food and working to get money to live."

07 Enlightenment is your nature. "I'm reading this book of Osho, and he keeps repeating how the woman's way to enlightenment is love and the man's way is meditation. It's confusing after hearing you."

08 There is no reason. "Why should I do things, why should I go there, wake up in the morning, go to university?..." Extracted from track 8 on tape 9.

09 When you are no more then you are "Recently, if I have extreme emotions, if I feel jealousy or anger, it just goes, and I'm grieving it a bit. I want to feel jealous, I want to feel angry... What am I, if I'm not all these things..." Extracted from track 14 on tape 9.

10 The last satsang, the end of the path "Over the years I see people come out of your intensive satsang, and they say 'the search is over'. These are my friends. I'm surrounded by them, but I can't say I'm surrounded by enlightened people."

11 In love with meditation "Is it possible to meditate too much?" Extracted from track 5 on tape 9.

12 Interested in the last satsang but I have no time "I will not have time to do the intensive, but I'm still interested in being at the end of the path, so what can I do?" Extracted from track 2 on tape 9.

13 How enlightenment happened (part 1) "Could you talk about how you got enlighened, how it happened to you?"

14 How enlightenment happened (part 2)

15 Get the message of meditation "The way the ashram resort is, it almost lessens my connection to Osho... And what's the relationship between ego and enlightenment, because a button pusher for me is Osho, the ordinary man, with his million-dollar watches and his ninety-two rolls-royces..."

16 Am I ready for the last satsang? "How do you know when someone is ready for the last satsang?" Extracted from track 11 on tape 9.
